AI Hallucination

When an AI model states incorrect or fabricated information with the same confident tone as accurate information. In a health context, this might mean an AI invents a plausible-sounding but wrong explanation for a lab value, misstates what a marker measures, or cites a reference range that doesn't match reality. There is no built-in signal distinguishing a hallucinated answer from a correct one, which is why AI-generated health information should always be verified against a physician or a trusted medical source.
